- Yes. LA Smart Home Systems holds California State Contractor License #949232 (C-7 low voltage) and is bonded and insured. The license number is on every advertising surface as California requires.
- What does Control4 Platinum Dealer mean?
- Platinum is the highest tier in Control4's dealer program, earned through installation volume, training, and support standards. It means the people programming your system do this every week and have direct access to Control4 support.
- How does a project start?
- With a free on-site consultation. We walk the property, learn how you actually use the home, and come back with an itemized written proposal. No pressure and no template pricing.
- How quickly do you respond?
- Within two hours during business hours, Monday through Friday 8 to 6. Calls and texts to the main line reach the team directly, not a call center.
- Can you add smart home features to an existing home?
- Yes. Most of our work is in existing homes. Wireless lighting, thermostats, and shades retrofit with little or no new wiring, and where a wire matters we fish it through finished walls and finish it with recess mount plates.
- Do you work with builders and designers on new construction?
- Yes. We coordinate pre-wire from the plan stage with builders, architects, and interior designers, so the rough-in matches the finished system and nothing has to be opened up later.
- What happens after the install?
- A walkthrough and app training on the day we finish, then ongoing support. Support plans cover remote troubleshooting, firmware updates, and priority scheduling, and the owner still answers the phone years later.
